Keira Park Cascade was off to a great start to the season coming home with the Grand Champion Led Riding Pony at Victoria's riding pony Pageant in November. Never would I have thought that he could receive another award as prestigious as that until he was awarded the Best of Show at the Melbourne Royal Horse Show on the 25th January 2009. This event being judged by 3 judges under a scoring system against all other Supreme's in their breeds of the show. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Raymond Butler and Glen Gillan on their professionalism and expertise in Snow's preparation and showing of this and his other events over the 4 days. Along with his Supreme Palomino he also received Champion Arabian Riding Pony stallion/colt and won his part Welsh class and placing 3rd in a strong class of Riding Pony colts. We look forward now to the competitions ahead having Snow entered in the Victorian and National Riding Pony of the Year shows and Barastoc next month.
